Classes will end March 30, 2012 and resume early October

Classes are $90 for 6 classes payable in advance of first class. Open Studio is payable weekly. Email announcements will be sent to all those on my email list as to the registration dates. In order to place your name on the list contact Lenny by email. Classes are very small so do not delay when the announcement arrives.

Watercolor Open Studio

These classes begin with a short demonstration and discussion of a subject of general interest. Some of these "openers" are relevant to a painting technique, some focus on a particular element of art or design. They are always something applicable to your painting. Following the demonstration is your time to work on your subject and painting of choice. At the conclusion of class we share our work. This class meets most weeks and is “pay as you go.” $15 each class.

Watercolor Beginning and Intermediate
Designed for beginning and continuing students with emphasis on still life and landscape using watercolors. An introduction to color theory, composition, techniques and materials. Class may be repeated as instruction is individualized for student need.

Basic Principles of Drawing
Drawing is the foundation of all art forms, and this class is the place to start. We'll work in charcoal and graphite while focusing on the principles of drawing- sighting and measuring, composition, and value. We’ll use our time to draw from landscape, still life and life model. Learning to keep a visual journal is part of the class. No experience required. Class may be repeated as instruction is individualized for student needs.

Acrylic Painting: Beginner to Intermediate
The goal of this class is to provide a strong foundation for acrylic painters by providing students with a working understanding of composition, paint application, and color theory. Students will gain knowledge from working from photos, still life and landscape. Class meets once monthly and may be repeated as instruction is individualized for student need.

Acrylics, Let’s Paint
Designed for beginning and continuing students with emphasis on your choice of subject matter using acrylics.. An introduction to color theory, composition, techniques and materials is included. Class may be repeated as instruction is individualized for student need.
